Microfiber can absorb more than 7 times of its weight in dust, particles and liquid. Each filament is only 1/200 of human hair. This is way microfiber has strong cleaning ability. The gap between filaments can trap dust, oil stain and soiling until clean by water, soap or detergent.

On the other hand, these gaps also could absorb a lot of water, so microfiber has super water absorption. Also, water can be dry quickly as only keeping in the gaps, so effectively prevent bacteria growth.
